I recently visited this awesome restaurant in Navarre. What a great atmosphere and some of the best Sushi I have ever had. I had the Spicy Mermaid and the Tiger Roll! I recommend both 100%. The Spicy Mermaid has jalapeños which gave it a perfect kick that I love. The eel sauce on the Toliger roll was excellent!
I will definitely become a regular here.
The cutest hidden gem! Make sure to drive slowly on the Parkway so you don't miss it! I got the most beautiful sunset picture in the back parking lot before we walked it. The staff was so nice and sweet! Always so attentive, and the food was too die for! It's one of the best sushi I've had in a while and totally worth the money!
We were planning a trip to Destin and I thought what better place to finally go to a sushi restaurant? My only exposure to sushi was trying a tidbit at a Chinese buffet or someone forcing me to try a bite of their grocery store sushi. I read a bunch of reviews online and decided on this place. Had to wait about 10 min for a seat. Was glad they had things labeled cooked and uncooked but knew I was going to get the Psycho Mermaid since ut was mentioned so frequently in reviews. I found out that I love sushi!! It was so good and going to The Slippery Mermaid ended up being a highlight of my vacation. Everyone else at my table lived theirs as well. I'm going to start going to sushi restaurants now. Idk if I will find one as good as this place in Cleveland but I'm gonna try!
This quaint sushi cafe combines a fun beach theme with really good Asian style sushi. We had the angry pirate sushi along with the Philly roll in the edamame. The angry pirate sushi was really good. Even my spouse who is not a huge fan of diversity in seafood loved it. Even the basic poke bowl of just rice and chicken with a sauce was really good. We highly recommend all of it!
First time I've been back in a few years, it's always been fantastic. Ate with my family. We all got the Miso! It's fantastic, especially on a colder day like this. It was perfect! Wish I got a picture. Instead, please enjoy these lovely pictures my sister took of our food. I don't remember what everyone else got, but I got the steak and rice bowl. Perfectly filling for me! 5 stars! Staff was wonderful as always.
Delicious meal, artfully prepared, kindly served.We had edamame, rolls and shared a Chef's Choice sashimi. George was our server and took good care of us. Casual setting, easy going. One of the best sushi places we've been to. Best in Navarre!
Absolutely love this place! Every time we are in town we make sure to visit. My favorite is the grilled chicken sushi. This last time we visited the waiter recommended trying their garlic sauce and it was awesome. Our edamame was cooked perfectly, great view of the water while sitting on the back deck. Can’t wait to go back!
Good sushi! We took it to go. The vegan chef’s choice was interesting but very good—spicy, sweet, nutty, and savory.
