I have been supporting this neighborhood business for a year now and I must say that this past Friday I should've left the neighborhood. I ordered a large center pieces rib tip w/ 2 extra cups of mild sauce. The tips were bland and tough. The fries which are normally tasty were dry & not flavorful. The sauce was a great combo sweet & spices. I received my two extra cups of mild sauce???? along with two cups of hot sauce ???? for which I never asked and had no use. I'll revisit again after a few months but I'm gonna break from the Slab for a while.
Excellent, tender and delicious!! Been trying different BBQ joints and this by far is the best!! Meat was seasoned so well! Fast and courteous service. And then there’s a large Annie Lee painting on the wall , “Ribs, Links and Fries”Instantly I knew this would be my go to for BBQ!!
This was my first time eating from here and it won’t be the last! I got the turkey tips, macaroni, and yams. Everything was a hit! The sauce is a good balance of sweet and tangy. I definitely recommend!
No one answered the phone so I could not place order over phone had to order inside. Employee was busy talking to owner, therefore my wait time took longer because they were talking personal I stead of employee tending to customer. I'm usually satisfied with their service, but not t his time. My ribs was cooked excessively hard, I couldn't eat them. I just threw them in garbage.
Food good, nice people, but that price idk ???? I ordered small everything and it came to like $28 i don’t like that lol. I damn near wanna say they gave me a large Mac n cheese and baked beans, because it’s a lot. I can only imagine how much the large cost. And if it’s only one size that’s still bogus. (And tips came with fries I ain’t order)
Guess I should of read the reviews before we ordered, my husband had a small tip which he said was tough, I had the 1/2 grilled chicken it was edible but something odd about that sauce, I'll update once my daughter review her mini turkey tip also mac&cheese was ordered that we didn't receive.
Came here on a Sunday and the Ribs was tough and that spaghetti was nasty. Only thing that was good was the fries. Won’t return
Delicious and yummie .. tender .. spicy !
Can't wait to go back.. they were out of baked beans, that let me know ..I gotta try those now..
