First time visiting, the meals were delicious. Order at the counter, but the food is still brought to you. The crepes were delicious. The pesto veggie was very tasty and well balanced, probably the best of the 4 things we ordered.
We had heard so much about this place and how amazing it was, so we decided to try it out. The front is where you order and then find a table. (They have a huge chalk menu above the register as well as physical menus for those of you that are like me and find that easier) We ordered the sugarshack crepe, the chicken bacon rancher crepe, and poutine(slightly different compared to Canada) Don't get me wrong, the food was good but we didn't understand the rave about it, it wasn't extraordinary. It was pretty unique that they use ingredients on a healthier scale to make things that aren't always the healthiest!
My husband and I took my good friend here for her birthday earlier this month. She’d been before, but this was our first time there. My husband’s poutine was quite possibly his favorite food from our entire Vermont trip, and my crepe + maple latte were excellent! The location was easy to find and it was very busy on a Friday morning, but we were able to place our order quickly and our food arrived fast.
Are you one of the thousands of people who patiently waited at the Skinny Pancake who they fed FOR FREE during the catastrophic flooding in July 2023? These people have hearts of solid gold. One of the photos I’m uploading is their map of Vermont with all of their Vermont suppliers. A solid, foundational business taking care of their neighbors. Also, a great place to find local art for sale. Did I mention how DELICIOUS, fresh and nourishing their food is?
Great place! Nice indoor and outdoor seating. They have a couple specifically vegan options which I appreciate - I got the vegan crepe which was quite good! Nice iced coffee ☕️ as well. Good service and friendly waiters.
I'd seldom eaten crepes until I visited The Skinny Pancake on a recent trip to Vermont.
My wife's Hot Apple Crumble crepe was fantastic! But the jury is still out on their savory options, as I didn't enjoy my own Johnny Crepe (BBQ). (I can attest, from visiting another location, that the breakfast crepes are tasty.)
The "kids'" chicken tender basket is a great option if you aren't actually in the mood for crepes.
The vegan savory crepes were quite good. The pesto was phenomenal and I wish more of it was used. It’s great that there are many plant-based options to choose from.
We stopped in and ordered 2 crepes. I had the blueberry pie crepe and my wife had the pbb & bee crepe. Both were outstanding!
