Best KPortal Reviews
The staff was super friendly! As soon as you walk in you are greeting with smiles and hellos! Our waitress Brittany was absolutely fantastic!!! My water was never empty. She was great with the recommendations and the food was delicious! So happy that this gem of a breakfast spot is in Kings Mountain. I can’t wait to try everything and this northerner probably will even try livermush! (I’ll keep you posted) I will definitely be back and recommending it to my friends and family
Went to the skillet for lunch and was impressed. I had the chicken bacon ranch wrap and shaped half my wrap for a coworkers half of his pattymelt with tots. Everything was fresh and very tasty. I look forward to going there for a full breakfast.
Biscuit and gravy was pretty good..but I had to wait 15 minutes after I ordered just to get it..but wasn’t told it was going to take that long to get it until almost 10 minutes after I ordered it..the grits were horrible and thick…my son got livermush that was thin and damn near folded like a taco when u picked it up..
I’m so glad I visited this cute little diner. The servers were super friendly, and the food was delicious. I highly recommend the grits! The biscuits were also exactly what you’d want in a biscuit. I’ll definitely be back.
Ordered Mama's Platter with a Pancake. Eggs was over cooked but, great value for the money.
Great breakfast!
Thanks for my birthday pancakes!
The food seemed to be like home cooking. I could go on about it, however the most impressive part was the impressive communication of the staff and how well they treat each other. It was refreshing to see people who work in the food industry showing respect, being helpful towards one another, and being courteous towards each other. Saying please, thank you, and even sir and ma'am towards each other as they worked was a huge boost to the overall atmosphere. Highly impressed, I'd give 10 stars if it existed.
My food was good. I got the Mama platter with 2 eggs over medium, a sausage patty, tater tots, and a biscuit with sausage gravy on the side. The gravy doesn’t come with the plate so it was an extra charge.
The eggs were perfect. The biscuit is huge and so soft and fluffy. I do not like spicy food and the sausage gravy was a little more hot than I anticipated. Again I’m not a spicy fan so some of you might think I’m crazy of I think it was spicy.
They don’t have a lot for kids to choose from. My son got a jelly sandwich and didn’t eat it because he doesn’t like the jelly they use. I would have been better off getting him a side of toast and use the jelly on the table.
I didn’t like the tea either.
