Had a lovely meal with Matthew and the team tonight, menu catered for everyone. The loaded nachos were amazing, and the warm bread with marmite butter was fantastic. I had the burger which was very filling and very flavoursome, the belly pork was moist and delicious. The battered fish was a massive portion which was cooked to perfection. The batter was crispy and no greasy at all. Lovely evening had by all and will definatly be going back soon.
Great local pub with great food .
Found the pub via Google and Trip Adviser, so booked a table for two and took a short drive up to the pub.
Food was really good and we had the option of eating it in the pub or the set dining area.
Portions are quite big! My main which was a chicken burger was so big i wish i did not order a starter.
I would give this place 5 stars. A local gem!
Attend the six bells under new ownership today, and the food was absolutely incredible, arguably one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. And the Brie bites were sensational.
Service was amazing, very welcoming and fast food.
Will definitely be returning back soon!
We found this place today on the off chance and wow, we loved it! So cosy and warm with the fire. The food was incredible, and really well presented. The ladies serving couldn't do enough for us, super friendly and chatty. They welcomed my dog and they all made a fuss of him and gave him treats and water ❤️. We will definitely be coming back here for food while we explore the surrounding area with the church and castle next to it.
Went here for Sunday lunch after hearing it was under new ownership also with a new chef. The food was great value, well presented and tasted awesome. Would recommend to all!
It was so welcoming. Although a very cold day outside, it was as warm as it could be inside with a lovely fire in one of the bars. Dogs are welcome. The food is plentiful and good value for money. The 'rustic' fries ( that's what they're called) are folded and make a perfect scoop for any sauces ????
Had our staff Christmas party here for the 2nd year. Although there was 25 of us all our food was outstanding.... very hot & well presented. Plenty of fresh veg & the cauliflower cheese was just amazing. Pat & all the staff are very experienced. Thank you for another fabulous night.

we have just celebrated our golden wedding anniversary with a party. Everything was first class, lovely welcoming atmosphere, splendid buffet. I can thoroughly recommend coming here.
We have eaten here many many times and it just keeps getting better.
