Nipped in at the weekend and bought 2 minced beef and onion pies. Please avoid them. A total rip off for £2 each. The pie only consists or very little meat and lots of onions. And is only half full and the pastry is way to thick. Never again.
Lovely food at decent prices. Hot drinks and ice cream. Friendly staff. Seats outside overlooking the docks.
Great village store .Lovely staff always willing to help especially the ice cream boy ???? great cuppa with great views seating area outside with heaters on a chilli day. 5star rating and dog friendly highly recommend a visit.
New DECK ON THE DOCK open 7 days a week a great under cover bonus for all weather brews and cake ???? great view.
Supper on late night Wednesdays till 8pm very tasty ????
Offer fish and chips on Friday evening. Excellent food! I love it! I love all the people I met here. Glasson Dock is a lovely place and thanks for the table and chairs you offer we can have a nice time chatting here.
A great cafe with lovely food and lovely service. The food is really good quality and service was very friendly. We were welcomed in despite being in a load of wet kayaking gear. I accidently left my gopro on a chair outside and it was passed on to me. We also got advice on where was a good place to get the boats on the estuary. Can recommend the beef sandwich
Lovely warm meat and potato pie ,only £1.99 ,sandwiches looked very nice
A little gem of a cafe. We have called here many times for a delicious ice cream. They sell hot and cold food which is very good and the coffee first class The decking is the perfect place to watch the world go by and as a bonus you can sometimes see the boats passing through the locks. It is also a general store selling groceries and alcohol with a gift shop selling many lovely and quirky items. It is also dog friendly. The staff are polite and friendly and the young man was very pleasant and helpful. Try a visit here and I am sure you will be not be disappointed.
We are new to the Ribble Valley area and finding new places to visit. Today we went to Glasson Dock, or Glasson as it seems to be called.
Lovely place on the mouth of the river Lune with a working lock that allows boats of a suitable size up the river towards Lancaster.
There is also a Smoke House were you can buy freshly smoked fish, meats and cheeses, although to my surprise, most of the fish isn’t caught locally but comes down from Scotland.
After a little wander round and a purchase of smoked mackerel and chicken, we called at the Quayside Cafe for a some light refreshment and sat outside on a little terrace in the sun watching a catamaran navigate the lock, assisted by the lock keeper and his mate
The Quayside Cafe is a cafe but much more than a greasy spoon. Food, from a toasted tea cake to a corn beef hash, is generous and tasty and cooked to order, reflecting the obvious desire of the owners to provide good quality produce.
Lovely location, very friendly and engaging staff and excellent food, looking forward to our next visit and the recommended “Full English”
