I am absolutely appalled by the attitude of the bar manager.
I requested a refund for the rental of the pool table. This was due to the pool room had become rammed with football fans. This was because that had also booked 3 birthday functions and attempted to show the England V Brazil. This made it near impossible for me to comfortably play pool.
After speaking to a member of bar staff she said she couldn’t refund the money from the table but could give us a drink each to make up for it.
I agreed, and proceeded to bring back the equipment when the staff member I was speaking to had disappeared from the bar completely. Instead I was greeted with an intense interrogation on why I wanted the refund and why I felt uncomfortable.
After explaining the situation, the woman through some change on the bar and told me that I should leave if I can’t cope with busy areas.
I have always found Tara / shaw side to be welcoming and friendly place. But to be treated in such disrespectful and aggressive manner has really cast a shadows on a place me and my friends enjoy to be
Never had a bad night here, quiz on a Tuesday is a belting night, seems a good mix of ages with something for everyone went to Stax of Soul at weekend. Staff and owners are great. I'd recommend to anyone. Pizzas on a weekend are ace!..
Just had my daughter's funeral there , it was lovely the room was lovely , and the staff was amazing , thank you Jordan for all you did for us
Went here with my son, we played Snooker for a couple of hours, it was very enjoyable and passed the afternoon, the venue is very clean and tidy, the staff are welcoming and friendly, would definitely recommend.
Popped in around 11:45 on a Saturday. The door was open, so I went in. I was standing there for 10 mins, I just wanted a game of snooker. There were people talking, and not one of them spoke to me to let me know what was happening. To the point I just walked out. This isn't the 1st time I've had bad service in here.

Didn't have any food. Played pool. Very friendly plenty of screens around to wat h the footy. Great staff
Absolutely freezing my guests wore there coats all night I was freezing and we had children there putting tables away before party finished disgusted not the venue I'd use again offered to put heating on 1/2 hr before finish
