Awesome little find in the rain for a couple of wet motorbikers. Lovely food, great place to sit, very friendly hosts! Will come again if we're in that neck of the woods
An amazing foodie find in a layby in Snowdonia National Park. The falafel brioche and halloumi brioche were excellent. The ham and cheese toastie was outstanding. Really good coffee as well. The service was very friendly and quick.
Had a lemon slice which was of the nicest cakes I've ever had! Will definitely be stopping next time I pass! Really friendly staff too. Recommended!

Incredible food and service at The Food Shack. We noticed it on the way back from Dolgellau on the Saturday and popped in for food at Sunday lunchtime. The Falafel wrap and salad was amazing, as were the nachos with chilli beef which my daughter loved. My wife had the hash & cheese which was delicious as well! The cake selection was great too and we had a lovely warm brownie and large flapjack alongside some great tasting coffees (the best coffee we had during our holiday). This is a gem of a place which I would visit again in a heartbeat. Shame it's only open 3 days a week as it's one of the best places I've eaten in a long time!
Had the nachos and chilli, along with a chai latte. Food was lovely, obviously made with care and really hit the spot, the owners have made the location very relaxing, with covered seating and there's also a great view of the wildlife behind. Definitely recommend you to stop and recharge your batteries when passing.
Food's absolutely amazing, customer service is brilliant, owner seems very friendly and happy to chat, excellent value for money, and in a very convenient location.
