I definitely like eating here now that it's with new owners and a restaurant name. Onion rings are our favorite. Still needs a little improvements but on their way.
Hush puppies were awesome. Fries were not great. Fried green tomatoes where good. Catfish was decent, but I have had better. Waitress was excellent! Dinning area was clean and welcoming, but basic.
It was actually good I enjoyed it I believe that they are under new management and a new name I think called The Driftwood I really was impressed portion size price was reasonable I hope it stays this way when I return the service was kind of slow tho and no alcohol beverages
The seafood here is excellent, minus the crab cakes. We love the selection of fish that was avaliable as well as platters. Our server was great and very attentive. The only negative feedback I have which isn't more negative that a suggestion, is add fresh oysters, blue and snow crab as well as dessert to your menu. I had hoped these items would be here but they were not even options on the menu.
They were out of oysters and didn't have whole catfish. They substituted more shrimp or scallops for oysters on combination platters. The catfish filets were small and tasted ok. I think I should've ordered mullet or grouper. The shrimp were good...seasoned well. Fried green tomatoes and fried pickles were very good. Grits were good no additional salt needed. Hush puppies were very good. Sweet potato wasn't good. Waitress took names to go with meals instead of calling out food, which worked out great for our large party.
Grouper was fantastic! Good size pieces and sandwiches. Chicken tenders were delicious with perfectly cooked white meat. French fries were hot, salad was fresh. Servers were polite and had great customer service. Tons of seating. Lots of parking.
Really disappointed. I ordered blackened grouper and shrimp. Instead of blackening, they burnt them to a crisp. Literally burned a hole in my plate. The place wasn't horribly busy and atmoswwas ok.
The Seineyard was great! The food and service were fantastic. This is not a place you come to for the fancy accoutrements!!! Paper plates. Plastic “silverware.” But the food is fresh. The prices were a little higher than I would expect without all the fineries that you’d usually get at a restaurant, but I think they were acceptable (though I wasn’t paying for my meal). I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a lot of food (portion sizes were ample) and food right off the boat.
