Absolutely lush fish and chips. Thick milky fish, with generous portions.
Excellent fish and chips and great value! Ordered 2 large haddock and chips. Went for a beer in the pub next door. 10 mins later picked up the fish and chips. Took them back to our lodgings. They were exceptional, fish very fresh, moist and flakey. Batter was light a crispy chips were perfect and large portions. The best fish and chips I have had for many years and very reasonably priced!
Absolutely the best fish n chips I have ever had n I’m in my 50s so I’ve had a lot! Had to wait a while but hey, there’s a pub next door. Seriously though, I’ve dined at Rick Stein’s n his aren’t half as delish as these. And, the portion sizes are better. Decent size fish not a sprat bolstered up with chips. Crispy, not soggy batter. A real treat. I’d drive up from Yorkshire just to visit this chippy again

Absolutely DEVINE Fish and Chips!! Cannot fault this place at all, staff are super friendly and the food is top notch. If I could give more than 5 stars I would as this place is a hidden gem for sure!!
Really lovely Fish and Chips. Wasn't to far from where we were staying in Hexham. We will be having them from there again.
Unfortunately the worst fish and chips I have ever had, I was really looking forward to them and always would visit when I was younger. Chips were the ends even though came back twenty minutes later as asked to for a fresh portion. Fish dry and all cold so disappointing.
Used the sea chef a few times last year.
Used it today think it be some time till we use it again.
Orderd meal to pick up got back to where we are staying it was cold so if we use ait again we orde at the shop just to make its still warm.
