This morning, I visited Scottys tyres.I was welcomed and treated with manner without any kind of rush.
I went in for a puncture repair with matter of patience. The gentleman was able to repair my tyre and was back on the roads.
P/O: Those who work with any kind of screws.please dispose of them safely, not on the damn streets!

Destroyed my alloys when removing my tyres and my alignment was off. I can only warn you of my experience. I have faced a big bill to redo the alloys and get all of the damage they did sorted. Avoid at all costs. If you run into problems with them they will simply ignore you. They do not care about you, or your car.

Avoid these cowboy traders, Look at the photos of my damage these people caused. If you value your alloys or have a nioce car which costs over £1000. They will damage your wheels when changing your tyres. I changed two rear tyres on my luxury car and before removal, Scotty Tyres showed me one single scuff mark on the alloys and the alloys were absolutely fine. I had taken photos of the alloys the night before. Scottys tyres did NOT take any photos and took the alloys into the back room where I was not allowed to go.
They changed the tyres and came back and inserted the tyres back on to my car. There was significant damage on both Alloys which caused the laquer to be damaged as they did not use rim protectors and staff simply do not know what they are doing.
When I pointed out the damage I was told that the scrapes were “already there from before”. I have explained they were NOT and I have provided photographic evidence of this
NO resolution was offered by Scotty Tyres apart from:
They would remove the tyres - and put the same ones back on, to prove their innocence that they were careful and they would charge me another £40 to do this.
The marks that have been made on the alloys are from a clamp of some kind that was used by Scotty Tyres and also there is a mark of damage where the nut was removed and damaged my lacquer.
Protect yourself from these cowboys. I have logged complaints with Trading Standards, and will be moving forward this complaint via small claims court. I have sent letters recorded, and they have ignored the letters.
Good selection of tyres and good customer service. These guys are usually able to do the job straight away with minimal waiting around. Much better prices than the big named tyre fitting garages out there. Just remember to ALWAYS haggle, no matter what!!!
