Went here for the first time today with my family , my fiancé and our son! The host was fabulous so nice and welcoming!
Such a homey feel!
Our waitress/ server ( Ashley)
Was so friendly and accommodating to our orders and my son had a blast saying thank you, and bye every time she left!
We will definitely be back!
Thank you!
Stopped by to grab breakfast around 11:30am and it was very busy. Ordered the Big Breakfast that came with 3 eggs, hasbrown, toast, bacon, sasauge and a pancake. Also ordered the sasauge gravy over biscuits. Friendly staff and great service!
I have eaten there before and it was fine.
This time I asked for fried eggs fried hard and I got this and was told by someone who wasn't my original waitress if I wanted the eggs I asked for I should have asked for fried eggs well done.
I left the eggs on the plate. I paid my money and left a tip because the server shouldn't be punished because of the cook.
They do good business but I don't see myself going back
edited to add: To the owner I am telling you what I asked for wasn't received and at the end of the day you still have my money. So what are we doing here?
It was a packed house when we arrived. There was a 15 minute wait which was fine. The seats share a back so when the woman behind me would move it would shove the seat back into my back. The prices are great but the food was average. We were surprised to see that a cup of coffee was $1.50 with no free refills.
Our first time here and it did not disappoint. Food was so good and fresh, coffee was perfect.
We come here almost every weekend for breakfast. The food, service and everything in between is outstanding. The staff is super friendly and efficient. The place is always clean. We have been to every diner in the area and Savory Skillet is by far the best. Levels above the rest. Food is fresh and good quality. I can't say enough about this place. If you havent been there you are missing out.
first time here and i liked it. I had half biscuit and sausage gravy and homemade hash. the biscuit worked nothing special not homemade (i think) but worked served with gravy on top so hard to really judge. Gravy was the star it was meaty and well seasoned not overly seasoned could taste meat and milk without over killing like some many places in region do. The biscuits and gravy was nowhere near jimmy dean sausage gravy and home made buttermilk biscuits i grew up with but this is up-there on my list. homemade hash was the bast i every had at a restaurant in the area the got a super-crispy layer top and bottom.
We were served within 5 min after ordering. All the breakfast items I ordered were delicious except for the margarine, I did not care for.
