My favorite donuts in the Orlando area! They are so light and airy it’s amazing.
Why 4 stars? For two main reasons— the parking can and most likely will, be a nightmare. There is a free lot but it’s usually full or just difficult to maneuver into + it’s a sharp turn off a busy road. Secondly, the first donut I ever had here I hated. I assumed all the donuts were brioche (not the case and that’s my bad), and got the salted-caramel donut… it was so not good. I’m surprised I was told it was a fan favorite.
Every other donut I’ve ever had here is sooooooo amazing!!!!
P.S. there is a vegan donut if you’re interested and it is very good
Mid. Just kidding I absolutely devoured this donut—its easily the best donut I’ve ever had in my life no joke. It’s so light and fluffy. I got the butter beer donut and salted caramel latte, both 10/10! The staff was super nice and the aesthetic of the place is really calm and nice for socializing or just chilling alone.
Title: Unbelievable Delight at The Salty Donut Shop in Orlando!
I walked into The Salty Donut shop in Orlando with zero expectations, and boy, was I pleasantly surprised! The brown butter, salt doughnut I tried surpassed all expectations set by the enticing website pictures. Shared it with my wife and son, and we unanimously agreed – we're in serious trouble; these donuts are a game-changer.
The place exudes a fantastic vibe, striking the perfect balance of a hipster atmosphere without being overdone. It's the kind of place that invites you to linger and enjoy the experience. We've heard about other Salty Donut shops in the southeast, and we're eager to explore them soon.
Don't underestimate this gem! Hop in your car or on your motorcycle and head straight to The Salty Donut. These donuts will blow your mind, and you definitely don't want to miss out on the delicious experience they offer. Highly recommended!
Doesn’t get any sweeter than The Salty! Best donuts, especially if you’re looking for gourmet, over the top sugar high! Delicious flavors that are a little different - and they always have a gluten free option that is worth trying. Really cute indoor interior and patio seating. Very midcentury modern vibe.
Typically I really love this place because they have a vegan donut option but today I ordered a cappuccino on delivery and it was actually atrocious.
It was over 7 dollars for this tiny cup of coffee and it wasn’t even a cappuccino. It tasted like dirt, barely had any almond milk and had no foam like an actual cappuccino. It’s really disappointing to see how inconsistent cafes in Orlando are. Please invest in some barista training
My wife and I were excited when we found this place because it looked really neat based on the photos online. But, our initial experience was kind of disappointing.
They advertise very nice pictures of coffees in mugs, which is what we look forward to most when we try new places for coffee. We asked for mugs when ordering our coffee, and the lady making them confirmed our request. It didn't matter, though, because they were brought out in paper cups.. I paid $7.50 for a Pumpkin White Mocha Latte (w/ oat) and got it in a paper cup. At least it tasted pretty good. The coquito donut was not bad. There is a great selection of donuts to choose from.
The place has a decent amount of seating inside and out, which is nice. The music inside was loud, so prepare for that if you come. Outside seating might be more relaxing with your coffee if that's what you're looking for. Overall, I left feeling a little salty and unsatisfied.
Great looking place, but donuts are just something else! I like all donuts in any form but these are just different, so very tasty and fancy ingredients, as well as the coffee. I knew about them in Miami since they had a little truck at Wynwood and people would make the biggest lines because they are worth it!
WOW! The Salty does not disappoint!
We always look for local establishments while on vacation & drove 25 miles to this gem! The staff was SO friendly, the donuts were PERFECTION! We enjoyed the weather while earring on the patio!
Such a great price point too!!! Come hungry! This will be on our list to visit again!
