My daughter and I went there for our birthday pedicures. A mom and daughter gave us our pedicures that day. It was my birthday that day and also the mom nail tech’s birthday as well. My daughter’s birthday was later that month. They made my daughter and I feel so special. They gave us some very meaningful and beautiful stone bracelets that the daughter had made. They are both very great techs. We will go again next year when we visit Arizona again. We were visiting from Washington.
Wow! I love The Salon Spot. I have been going here for over five years. Blanca does my hair and Amanda does my nails. Both ladies are worth their weight in gold! They are amazing people and amazing technicians. I’m coming from a nail appointment with Amanda and will post that photo. Blanca did my hair for my wedding last year and I will post a few of those photos here as well.
I had walked in after getting lunch next door to see about an appointment. Abby gave me her card after saying she could cut long hair. We set up an appointment for myself and daughter to come at 11am. I get there at 11am and another gal told me Abby left. So I called her and she's like oh oops I thought you were for 10 like she tried to schedule me and i said no 11 am so she knew it was for 11am, and didn't offer to return for her 2 appointments. I tried to message her a few times to reschedule the appointment and have been completely ignored. What a great business model. Wasting my time! Idk about the other stylists but Abby is a FLAKE. I still haven't gotten my hair cut like 7 months later. Very rude and inconsiderate and I guess she doesn't need clients!
I have been seeing Blanca for my hair for almost ten years. When I moved out of Awhatukke for a few years, I would drive 40 minutes + to get to her. She also did my hair for my wedding. She always knows how to perfectly style my hair. The salon itself is super cute and everyone is always nice. It's very cool seeing the transformation over the years. I definitely recommend this spot.
I had full highlights with Blanca. Was totally disappointed. It was the worst job I have experienced in the 35 years I have been highlighting my hair. Half way through the process she announced she would have to up charge for toner. That was a first for me. And then once I went outside and noticed how spotty my hair was I contacted her and was told she would not stand by her work. No wonder she insisted on cash for her tip and up charge. I would not recommend her to anyone.
Sarida did an amazing job! My hair was alot if work but she made my dream come true.
Sarida is fabulous! My hair is long and I've been with her for years for coloring. I once mentioned I was thinking of a magenta waterfall look on the ends when I finally turn all white. While I was kinda kidding, she was immediately trying to figure out how!
She always does everything she can to flex times when you need it most.
Sarida is my favorite hair dresser! She has been doing my hair since I was a teenager. I have really really really long hair and it isn't easy to deal with. However, she is like the only person I really trust to cut or color my hair. I will be getting my hair done in a couple weeks and I'm excited to change it up. I know she will do a wonderful job with giving me what I'm looking for. She also made my hair look absolutely beautiful on my wedding day. I would suggest The Salon Spot to anyone trying to look for a good hair place to go!
