My wife and I stopped in for a late lunch/early dinner after hiking at Canaan Conservation Area. It was busy but not crowded by any means. The service was very friendly and attentive and our food was served within a very reasonable time. It was obviously cooked to order and was fresh and hot. My wife ordered the steak tips with mashed potatoes and green beans. I had the honey mustard chicken breast with a broccoli/cauliflower salad (the day's special) and sweet potato fries. Each meal came with a dinner roll as well. Everything was perfectly cooked and excellently seasoned. We really enjoyed our meal. Our compliments to the chef and staff. This is the way a restaurant should be run!!

Excellent home cooking topped with yummy coconut creme pie! Stewardess was Lydia - she was always right there if we needed anything.

Visited the new Bland fire department also and gave them pics of our grandfathers that were both fireman. Our grandparents home was literally in the back of the new fire department! ❤️

Never disappointed!! Huge selection of menu options and daily specials that are actually items not offered on the regular menu! PLUS large selection of unique homemade desserts that are to die for. Worth the hour drive and we make the drive often!

This restaurant is really nice, the servers were great, the food was delicious, and I will definitely go back, and try the home aid pies. It's a small town, but they give you plenty to eat.
