A great pub . Very friendly staff and a good atmosphere. Dog friendly.
Land lady got a bit shirty very easily at the end of the night.
I was very surprised about this pub, from the outside just looks dark and dingy but I went in for a look around. It was a lovely little pub just my kind of place, open fire, snug area in the back bar and even a beer garden that is a bit of a sun trap. Had a nice guest ale on. Can't wait to go back for more of a session.

Lovely Locals pub, with some friendly if quirky characters. Friendly staff. Introduced to the Standard by my best friend, who sadly passed away far too young unexpectedly.
Plastic, expensive no pleasantries all you can expect in a tourist trap like Dartmouth. Members of staff had no interest with or doing their jobs. Everything seems to much trouble.
Freindley staff nice pool table they do some times have karaoke there good way to get the community together
Walked in and immediately witness rowdy locals in the middle of a slightly uncomfortable jokey argument/chat - locals oblivious to us to the point of standing in the way of the archway to get to the rest of the bar.
Barmaid seemed nice enough though.
Found a quite enough bit which seemed clean.
Adnams bitter tasted slightly funkier than I remember & had a small bubbly head on it that made me wonder if the line/ beer wasn't right. It didn't quite feel like the kind of place that I felt would appreciate a concern being aired, so eventually got through most of it and we left shortly after. Barmaid outside smoking on her break didn't bother to say bye...
3 stars because outside space looked great for when the weather is good in the day.
