The staff were welcoming and warm. Down to earth making all feel welcome despite the covid situation. My nephews christening had been rearranged from March to August (covid related). They accommodated to their highest standard. The alcohol is very reasonably priced for a typical working mens club. Overall clean and welcoming.
We had a fantastic show last Saturday night. It was for charity we raised 1000 pounds . Tonight we are going again. For a local charity .I'm hoping for another great night
First timer here,we were made very welcome. Then a chap popped out from behind the snooker screen. We only met ,yesterday in Doncaster. At the same time ,inthe big room, the band from the Scottish sector were practicing in the big room, after enforced distancing due to covid.lt did not take long before the rendition of'Amazing Grace's and other tunes were belted out on bagpipes and associated instruments.A amazing accompaniment to our game of snooker,Great beer as well!!!
Lovely atmosphere, you can let your hair down on Saturday night ???? with the turn that is on, staff is very friendly, a good night all round ????????????
It was a charity night called stars in your eyes. Each artist did several different spots it was brilliant I dont go there nomaly.
Very tired & in need of decoration, bearing in mind it's the same as it was over 20 years ago when I worked there ????
Superb. Brill comitee, cheap, decent pints, friendly community pub.
