My fiance and I came here for a pre wedding anniversary dinner. We had a table reserved and got seated about a half hour after our time. Other than that the service was great and we were really happy with the food we got
(both got steaks). They also offer soup and salads and other pre dinner food. We left stuffed with the feeling our money was well spent.
At first I was a little skeptical based off the photos I seen on reviews. I'm glad my conclusions were wrong. Everything was delicious. Suggested apps: fried steak, cheese curds, onion rings. I highly recommend Oscar style on any steak, if the stuff included appeals to you, very good. Had a group of 6, had drinks, cost was less than anticipated. Would highly recommend this place if you haven't had it.
The food is amazing! Drinks good, too! Took along time to be seated. We were good with getting a drink. We were told 30 mins, and it was close to an hour. Once seated, the waitress was great, knowledgeable about the food, etc. I am gluten-free, and they did a great job with the menu. Loved the great variety as well. We went on Tuesday, which is German food night. My guy loved his meal! The atmosphere was also nice. The place is very big inside as well. Prices are her good as well.
Old School supper club with a big menu ... we had a 90 minute wait for a table so we sat at the bar and had a couple of drinks ... this is definitely a locals place, because everybody knew everybody ... there was a new bartender in training, so patience was required ... he did a good job on making my old fashioned, but he didn't know the inventory yet ... when we sat at the table the server was super friendly and knowledgeable ... the food was tasty and the portions were enormous ... the mussels and toast points were simply outstanding ... the broth was delicious ... if you are in OshKosh, this is the place to go!
We met friends for lunch at Roxy's but forgot to make a reservation. The place was packed but the hostess kindly found us a table. The waitress was wonderful...patient with us ...changing our minds. The food was excellent! My friend waved about the shrimp. My husband had the prime rib & said it was delicious! My chicken was perfect! We live 11/2 hours north but we'll be back.
Had a reservation for 17 on a Sunday night after graduation. The hostess was rude and wouldn’t accommodate to our needs. The reservation was set over a month advance and we were told as we arrived our group was split into 2 tables. But other groups who came almost an hour later were accommodated perfectly. The server was just as bad and had a snooty attitude with no attentiveness and clearly didn’t want to be there. She was also late to work and our reservation was also pushed off. Bartender was an older gentleman who teased us about ordering drinks and tried to use a sense of humor that just created an awkward encounter. Honestly people rave about the Roxy but shouldn’t because of the lack of hospitality.
Very nice place for dinner and a cocktail. Fully stocked bar and food is top notch. The servers and staff are welcoming and attentive to all your needs. Took my grandma and had a great time. The atmosphere gives off an Italian cozy restaurant, very charming! Recommend the scallop stir fry, French dip and of course their cheese curds made with sharp white cheddar. The best cheese curds in Wisconsin some say! The old brick building, cozy booths and cocktails are the perfect combination for a great dinner.
Service was excellent, food was good. A very friendly atmosphere.
Checkout/paying is a disaster area. One is forced to pay at the front door. With guests coming and going it is very chaotic with a line of people trying to either get seated or pay and leave.
