Came here last weekend for a friends birthday as she had hired the side room with the skittle alley in. The pub catered for the event and the food that was provided was amazing (curry, rice, chilli, naan bread, onion bhajis and popadoms) all cooked fresh and tasted amazing! Everyone complimented the food. Service from the whole team was great, all very personable and couldn’t fault them. Enjoyed the skittle alley, as being from up North we don’t have them here! It’s a shame it’s a 4hour drive down or we would be back at the pub all the time! Next time we come to visit we will return. A lovely evening, thanks all
We had a great visit to the Rose and Crown. The food was delicious. More veggie/vegan options would have been great. Kids were super happy as they got to have a play in the amazing play area. Was a great visit. We'll be back to sample the roast soon I'm sure! Thank you!
Great new menu at this reliable local - I wish the whole team every success! We've not long moved to the village and look forward to eating our way through it. If you don't use it you lose it folks! Let's all support this friendly local business!
Great pub , sunday carvery is really good
We went here for a family Christmas carvery and were not disappointed , it was absolutely perfect food and well priced for the great portions that were given , very friendly staff too , we Wil most definitely return . Thank you .

Veggie options are basic and what u come to expect, burger, lasagna and risotto. But it was lovely food, great service, will defo go back.
