Lovely host Shaz …. Very welcoming. Nice clean room. Quiet. Great base for a night out in Warrington and excellent value for money. No issue at all except the mattress was rock hard we had sore backs when we woke up. But we paid £60 for 3 of us and the room was lovely and had tea and coffee facilities. Very happy and would defo stay again
Had drinks after the Wolves match and as expected was very quiet, but the service was great together with range of drinks on offer, would go back due to distance from the center.
welcoming atmosphere, nice lighting, open space and seating. Great for a couple of drinks on the way into the town centre. Very close to Warrington Station.
Room was ok until someone got in while I was away and removed wire basket from shower cubicle. Creepy as ef.
The Rodney is a great little no-fuss budget hotel for an overnight stop almost next to the station at Warrington Central. (Not to be confused with Warrington Bank Quay!) The rooms are quite large, decor is minimal but there is a kettle & tray in the room. It can be a bit noisy from the pub below but we didn’t find it to be a problem. Staff are friendly. Parking is easy to find if you need it. It served our purposes just fine.
From the time I was there until now, they have improved, and showes they making an effort to improve.
Let me start by saying the bar staff are very helpful. Now the negative, today, the day after staying night I'm in agony from the mattress that we tried to sleep on. The kidneys in back are very painful after the springs digging into me. I tried to sleep on end as need to use bathroom in night, this was really bad. I tried to sleep onto of duvet to see if it cushioned the mattress but no good. My partner who was on the wall side got me to move to his side but it wasn't much better. For £80 to stay here I feel that I should be compensated for the pain I'm in today. Never again, unless you go out and buy a new mattress, they don't cost that much.
Please avoid this place . The room was scruffy and dated the mattress was non existant springs poking through and it felt I was laying on a peice of wood.|Water pumps run and can be heard from the other rooms.|The floor stunk of weed the room next door was occupied by a young resident tv on full blast leaving the door ajar whilst he was on the stairway smoking a joint.|Nobody on site to complain to there was no offering of a breakfast no parking either .|Due to the bed the water pump situation neighbors I actually felt exhausted. |Avoid at all cost
