Lovely little place just off the A9, never knew this was here! Me and my partner stopped in for lunch today and we both loved the cozy feel and the food was delicious!
My partner had the baked potato and hummus, I had a beef burger with haggis, cheese and chutney.
We had a Chocolate Guinness cake for dessert which was a generous slice and was delicious and moist.
The staff were welcoming and attentive!
Quaint and quirky, lots of interesting gift ideas as well as excellent food. The breakfasts use loxal produce and are perfectly cooked and presented. Lots of choice! Desserts ands cakes beautifully displayed, the only problem is ddciding which one you would like. Very good customer service. Highly recommended and hope to be back next time I'm across visiting.
Wonderful cafe, absolutely delicious food, generous portions, fabulous range of cakes and cheesecakes. Goats cheese salad and salmon salads both just wonderful. Really friendly service. Can't recommend highly enough. Wish we lived closer as would definitely return. Oh and they also do a lovely range of gifts.

We came by on a little camper trip and stopped for breakfast, we immediately fell in love with the place, really cute cottage in a beautiful spot by the river. Our food was delicious and when we were leaving our lovely waitress told us about the history of the building and gave us a tip to take a walk down to a nearby beach.
It was breathtaking. We saw lots of seabirds including Puffins. We would have just got back on the road without this recommendation, and it turned into our favourite stop of the whole trip so a big thank you to the River Bothy ????
On our journey to Inverness, we had the opportunity to visit the charming River Botha. It was a delightful coffee shop where we could bask in the picturesque scenery on a sunny day (we were fortunate indeed). The team at the coffee shop was exceptionally friendly, and we were thoroughly impressed by the quality of their coffee and desserts. The hotel, where the restrooms are located, is just a short three-minute walk away. If you find yourself driving through this region of Scotland, a visit to this coffee shop is an absolute must.
