The rising sun farm lefta lot to be desired. The animals looked quite well looked after, the falconry part was pretty good...very cheap to hold a bird of prey. The toilets were horrendous! Like absolutely horrendous! The picture doesn't even do it justice. The walks are ok. The actual rising sun country park is much better.
Hidden Gem,great place 2 visit,took grandchildren they were over the moon seeing newly born lambs, goats and animals ducks rabbits + the Kestrels and owls,lovely place to visit will be back
Great the animals great place to have a picnic here are some photos of the animals
Donkeys and lambs were fine but it was cold and the toilets were all locked up
This place is excellent for young and old alike there is a lot to do at the farm .
The staff were very professional when we were asking Questions also very polite towards us .
They also do a voluntary scheme so if you would like to volunteer please pop and enquire about this.they also have stables
and I do believe volunteers would also be welcome .
Please go along and enjoy a nice walk around the full gounds.
Beautiful walks, cafe with lovely snacks. Fab park for the kids and the BEST centre for those with disabled children. This place needs more investment - it is a total diamond!
Great place for walking dogs or just a stroll in a countryside setting. A working farm with a falconry on the site plus two area's to get refreshments one of them a Artisan Bakery.
Its ok at best, you drag your kid all the way from the car park to see very few animals, bakery could do with improvements, food quite greasy and salty, benches on its last legs, not much to do in general
