Best KPortal Reviews
Lovely evening Saturday night with Hodge Podge music and atmosphere great. Great crowd. One thing that worried me a very well behaved cute baby with mum and dad just wish they had bought earphones for the baby as music and chat so loud it would definitely effect the babies ears Rising Sun Staff please advise parents of that. But he was very a well behaved baby no trouble.
This pub has become the great local pub it deserves to be. With a new landlord and landlady installed, it is now the best (and possibly the cheapest pub) in the Sid Valley. Live music has also made a welcome return to the pub with bands on every 2 months or so. The first event was packed. So good to see this friendly, welcoming pub back on its thriving again. Come down and support it.
Really down to Earth pub serving beer only.
Really friendly locals and welcoming owners. Good meat draw on a Sunday.
Selection of real ales as well prices very reasonable.
Come along and try it yourself, you will.not be dissapointed
Really lovely, welcoming place. Reasonably priced drinks and snacks, nice friendly atmosphere!!
Friendly, local pub with good range of ales, lager and cider. Nice atmosphere and outdoor area.Well priced and well worth a visit
I had the best burger of my entire life here today! Portobello mushroom and halloumi with chips and onion rings! My parents had the pork belly and had very high praises. I would 100% recommend this lovely pub! The chef and waiters are all lovely and very helpful.
Best value pub in the entire valley, great atmosphere with a very mixed age group range.
Good basic scran. Honest home cooking and a real good old fashioned welcoming local pub. I had the chicken and it was tender and delicious. I think we visited during the main chefs holiday so there may be a different menu when he's back in full cook. Dogs welcome in the pub but they like to keep the dining area dog clear so no problem there you can eat in the rest of the pub with your dog. Good choice of real ales and a bigger choice of box ciders. Didn't break the bank to visit neither. No heirs and graces but lovely friendly staff, I would visit again.
