We have gone to the Ridge Diner on several occasions and have yet to be disappointed. They seat you promptly and the wait for the server to arrive has never been long. The breakfast foods are my go to meal and are well prepared in a good sized portion. Recently I tried a hot sandwich (Reuben - pictured) which was also very good. Prices are very reasonable. If you enjoy a decent diner, you will not be disappointed at The Ridge.
overpriced, bland, cooked horribly, don’t recommend going here. got poached eggs that were completely solid on the inside. potatoes were barely cooked through and corned beef hash was almost entirely potatoes and tasted like nothing. almost 20 dollars for one meal that i would never eat again
I have eaten before but only breakfast. The food was ok. This time, I had a simple hamburger. It was dry and tasteless. The bun looked like it went through a war, dry and tasteless. I was starving, so I ate. This made me look around. The diner is in great need of a renovation. Looks old and tired.
This diner has gone way down from the 1970s and the 1980s. It is a bit run-down and not particularly tidy, either.
The portions are good but the absolute quality of food and its preparations are not up to par.
The portions are a bit less at The Cornerstone but the quality and preparation is noticeably better.
The diner is there in a pinch but there are other choices - most of which will be better and perhaps, a bit more expensive.
Everyone was friendly and professional. Service was fast and correct. I ordered the Western Omelet with tomato instead of ham. Everything was delicious.
Great food. Wonderful service. Family-friendly and reasonable wait times. Always seem to get you a table fast no matter what time of day or how busy they may be. Always greeted with a smile and from beginning to end the service is attentive and a pleasure. When it comes to diners, The Ridge has them all beat. You won't regret going out here.
The food was bland and average at best. The place looks nice from the outside but is super run down inside, rips and tears in the seats, torn wallpaper, dusty everywhere etc. and just had a very awkward atmosphere. None of the staff was particularly friendly, and they were all coughing and sneezing around guests eating without covering their coughs/sneezes. The waiter seemed to be in a rush to get us out despite it being two hours before closing time because he asked if we wanted dessert before we were even halfway finished with our food, and then brought our check, said you pay at the front and proceeded to sit down in the booth next to us to count out his tips… overall an awkward experience. Will not be returning.
Unsure if the management changed here but I was very satisfied with my last visit! Haven’t been here in about 2 years but we came and got our “regulars” and were very satisfied with the food. I will say the seasoned fries are just curly fries and I was disappointed since half of them were tiny, inedible pieces of fried to a crisp fry though.
