Really nice recent visit.
When busy the cafe can get quite cramped.
Food delicious.
Slow service but was busy, so expected.

Lovely cafe at Haldon forest. Plenty of indoor and outdoor sitting. Friendly staff. Good selection of vegetarian options. Overall good quality food. Reasonable prices too.

Family run been there many times parking is amazing. The all the food there is really nice at a really good price. Well worth a stop if you travel in down motorway And the staff are lovely and very helpful
Small cafe, certainly not cheap at close to £15 for coffee and a panini but the food was nice and well done. Unfortunately it is extremely noisy with a combination of over excited screaming kids at most tables, and the staff shouting at full volume each order out in detail (and there are a lot of orders!). It feels chaotic and more like I was at Crealy! I would go again if it warm enough to sit outside as the coffee was great. Also experienced one extremely unhelpful member of staff but another quickly stepped in was lovely, friendly and sorted out what I needed in a jiffy.
Gave it a second chance - but no! My panini was £9 and my son’s wrap was the same price . Sorry but there is just something a bit ‘off’ about the food here. Glimpses into the kitchen at the back look a bit grubby and so were the finger nails of the lady who served me. If you are going to charge ‘top end’ cafe prices you got to do better than this.
Small Cafe in the Haldon Forest Cycling/walking complex. Perfect for a hot drink after a bracing walk or cycle. Busy but efficient. Seating in winter is limited especially inside with the woodburner going!
