Best KPortal Reviews
An absolute gem of a place. Warm, comfortable, dog friendly. Good parking. Cakes made freshly. It was really busy in there too. Theres a supply of fresh produce, much of it grown or laid locally. The scotch eggs were absolutely gorgeous too.
Nice place, very lovely architecture situated in an old converted church. Produce on sale seemed mixed, vegetables on sale clearly not welsh seasonal focused.
Coffee was nice, servers seemed unguided and needed a little training.
Atmosphere felt hollow, a little background music would go a long way. Overall it was nice though.
Today was our first visit to the retreat for lunch. Lovely building and the food was delicious. We were pleased to see the sitting area full. Best wishes to Simon and Amy in their latest venture.
Four of us went for breakfast on a Friday morning. Plenty of parking, the coffee was hot, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. Fresh, wholesome ingredients, no supermarket purchased sausages or tomatoes here, and the butter beans in tomato knocked spots off a can of Heinz.
Lovely atmosphere, very reasonable for the price. Great staff. Dog friendly!
Limited lunch options but good quality. Lots of salads which were fresh, but I needed something more substantial on a cold day. Nice location but nothing to look at from inside, obviously!
Gorgeous setting. Lovely staff. While we were waiting for food the owner was cutting fresh flowers for stunning arrangements.
Fresh supply of homemade, homegrown food was coming out of the kitchen. We were in a party of 6 and every dish was delicious.
Absolute gem of a place. I've been a few times now and said "wow" each time my lunch has been brought over and noticed other customers can't help but do the same! Delicious, fresh, flavoursome food, brilliant service and a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend.
