Ate there for the first time yesterday. Food was great! The ribs are phenomenal. The meat pulls off the bone. I had the combo platter. The brisket was dried out but when I brought it to the servers attention it was made right with a very juicy and tender serving. It was the closest to Texas BBQ without being in Texas. Definitely worth it. And I will return

DO NOT judge this restaurant by the exterior (or do..... we can keep it for us locals). Wow! Just WOW! Relic Smokehouse is fall off your stool unbelievably great food. My husband ordered the brisket, i ordered ribs and brisket and (creatures of habit we are) we both ordered the mac & cheese and beans for sides. The food was out of this world outstanding. It comes with 3 different sauces: regular bbq (good), hot bbq (amazing!!) And hot mustard (outstanding). Loved that the meat came "dry" so you could add your sauce of choice - problem is we loved them all. The meat was literally melt in your mouth tender, and the flavor was outstanding. The mac & cheese should be its own food group - its THAT good. It's houses in a historic building with an unassuming front. It is our new favorite regular spot.

Ordered Messy Pig Sandwich and was expecting a MESSY pork sandwich. Lots of DRY and not very tender pork (could not cut it with a fork) with no sauce (except for a very small side serving), therefore, NO mess, served on a cold bun. The 3 bites of mac and cheese that came as my side dish was very tasty though. Server seemed annoyed when we asked for more sauce, and then just brought little plastic cup about 1/3 full. My husband had the prime rib, and said that their horseradish was delicious, but again, they were kinda stingy with it. Had to ask for more 2 times. He loved the corn on the cob. And why does a BBQ place that serves a burger not have ketchup?? Only little packets, which once again, they were very stingy with. Great atmosphere though!

In town from Montana for a few days and excited to try a kid free date night and new experience. Love the building, wait staff was nice and did a good job. I ordered a burger and it was incredibly dry. Hubby got a 2 meat meal. He had the chicken and brisket. Everything was so incredibly dry and overcooked. The best thing was the cucumber, tomato and onion side.

Love the relic! Super delicious barbecue and very high quality.

The waitress Lis is amazing (if I'm spelling her name wrong, I hope she forgives me). She really goes out of her way to make your day.

Highly recommend the smoked apples - they are a treat.

I do wish they will add potato salad to the menu.

I recommend the pulled pork and the BBQ chicken. Those are my favorites, personally.

The was very good. They had live music. They were very good. It was a great experience. We ordered a combination plate that was $99. Definitely worth it. Excellent mac and cheese.

Food is amazing, ALWAYS!! In addition to their smoked meats, they are ABOVE the rest with their Shrimp Cocktail. Their homade cocktail sauce packs a punch and can clear your sinuses, lol

Hot BBQ sauce is hot. Stay with mild if you can't handle the heat
