Lovely food here, most enjoyable, sat on bench outside with our dog. Seafood special (Hake, Mussels, Prawns) was beautiful. As was the grilled halloumi salad that my partner had. Some beers on draft too.
It was great to see our county's restaurants adhering to government guidance and keeping masks and social distancing at the Regent cafe. On top of that the food was fabulous, it was clean and airy and the staff were friendly and helpful. The food came to the table in good time and we really enjoyed our time here. Thanks x
It's in new ownership and expanded, so the gift shop is gone and it has had a face lift! But totally just what we needed after a long day tromping around south Cornwall. Super friendly staff, a great menu, food drinks and good quality food. Price wise it is about right for the area. Not the kind of place for a romantic meal, but spot on for tasty holiday food with he family. They also have live music on from time to time,so watch out for that!
Great food. We had the mussels, burgers and battered fish and must say it tasted great. The milkshakes and coffees are lovely too. We had to choose between entering the places and didn't regret entering the Regent Cafe & Grill. The tables and chairs are cleaned and sanitised well after customers leave. And I must say the customer service was excellent!
Friendly staff, delicious food, refreshing pint, lovely area and reasonable price. What more could you want?
We have been 3x in the last week and fully intend to go back again before we head back home
I had holidays with my family in Lizard over 5 days we went to this cafe several times, the staff was always very polite, friendly. The breakfast is wonderful my daughter is allergic and we made a mistake in ordering and they were very kind to us. I want to thank all the staff for their professionalism. On behalf of my entire family, thank you very much. Luis Costa
We’ve eaten twice here whilst staying in lizard. Welcoming friendly staff good menu choice although had ran out of a lot of the specials board that was a bit disappointing but food good and the Eton (RC) Mess is to die for. Very rich as they use cream and not the typical squirty type!
Our ladies' motorbike group did a detour to the Lizard, on a day out.
As cafes go, this was expensive.
My friend ordered deep-fried Brie in breadcrumbs. What she got was 3 small pieces of Brie with what looked like a green twig but was actually a single piece of some sort of lettuce. It cost £7.00. Absolutely not worth the money for 3 tiny pieces of deep-fried cheese.
We won't be doing any of our days out there again. I overheard a gent say that he felt it was expensive artisan snobbery.
