First time was a treat but tonight it was just plain awful. Double fried chips, dark batter (think oil needs changing or too hot) and raw fish. Totally inedible and ruined a valentines treat. Only got 5 stars for service as the lad on the counter was polite and friendly
Drastically gone down hill. Used to be delicious chips. Decided to try tonight and no flavour at all. My guess is that they are brought in frozen thin cut chips, not the traditional chip shop chips. To be a fish and chip shop you must stick to the basics of preparing own potatoes through a tumbler and chipper and cook from fresh. No flavour what so ever. My guess in an attempt to save money the chips were served in a paper bag.
The curry sauce was ok.
Would liked to have given a 0 star rating. Myself and my husband thought that we would treat ourselves to a chippy tea.Used this shop before it Changed hands and it was always a lovely family business. Last night the battered sausage was so bad even the dog refused it and many chips were black .Today hubby is in bed and I am struggling. For your own health stay away
This is the worst fish and chip ship I've ever eaten from. Although i didnt have fish i bought a large chips and battered jumbo sausage. The chips:- Large portion for a child and under cooked
The battered sausage :- tasteless and cheap, the batter was like an old fashioned condom, absolutely disgusting.
No pride in the place, you can see that from the minute you walk in and i should've trusted my gut, not punished it!!

This used to be a fantastic fish and chip shop. I can only assume its changed hands now and the quality has not just taken a nose dive but it has also splattered on the pavement. Rubbery fish, soggy batter, barely cooked chips, staff with the personality of a gold fish.
Grim. Worst fish and chips I’ve ever had in my life. Wet, green and black chips. Suspect the fish was pre-made and warmed up in oil. Had to wait half an hour. Shouldn’t be allowed to operate. Avoid
Took around 25 minutes when it wasn’t busy for 2 portions of chips, battered fish and sausage. The chips were so soggy and the fish was just pure water all slimy and the batter wouldn’t even stick to it. The only decent thing was the sausage, curry sauce was all coagulated. Overall worst fish and chips in Weymouth.
Used to be a great chippy until it was taken over and boy has it go e downhill and it seems like the owners don't care if they lose customers or not.
They also have changed the menu and why they've taken certain things off that take not too long to cook compared to other things still on menu is puzzling.
