My 3rd visit, and OMG the tandoori was amazing, best I've had , better than the Indian I go to. Full parmo fed 3 of us .... its huge. Long wait due to be cooked fresh ???? worth the wait, but best order in advance. Well done chef, excellent job. I'll be back next week.....curry time.
Just ordered a parmo, it Was great really tasty. Chips dryed out and hard couldn't eat them. Under new management so should really have all these reviews reset.
We were ordering a little bit late in the evening, about 9pm for fish n chips, a lot of other places had shut and I was sceptical about reading the reviews. However it was one of the best fish and chips I’d had! Straight out the fryer but not greasy at all. Fish was beautiful and the chips were tasty. Maybe things have improved since all the poor reviews before?
Grim. Worst fish and chips ever had. Fish wasn’t fresh, batter was awful and soggy. Got gravy and it was full of salt and far too much flour. Terrible experience
Just got chips and fish bites along with dinner meat and chips. The chips were completely undercooked and still hard as well as tasting very odd. The fish was watery with a white watery thick substance all over the bottom of the containers. I took a bite and the fish wasn't cooked. It was still raw. My husband chips were the same and completely undercooked. Both meals have gone straight in the bin! Never again!
SERVICE DREADFUL OWNER/DRIVER VERY RUDE Ordered a chippy tea as a treat as my daughter had just got a new job food took ages to arrive and when it did there was cheese on the burger which wasnt on the description. When we requested a replacement they offered a free one next time I explained my granddaughter was lactose intolerant and this was her dinner they offered to refund the price of the burger which was no use so I told them I wanted a full refund at which point they finally agreed to bring the burger the owner/driver was extremely rude told my daughter to get the original burger out of the bin and when she refused told her to never order from his shop again. We weren't planning on it!!!!
We ordered 2 fish and a large kebab, I'm very fussy and won't eat fish from many places but this one was lovely and a good size! The kebab was 'very yummy' (coming from my 3 year old) and it was huge! It came in record timing and was piping hot! We will definitely be ordering again x
Disgusting undercooked food. Chips not cooked at all. Wife's fish was just slime like when fish goes out of date and it was cold too. Donner meat could only be described as the scraps left of a floor that even a dog would avoid. Garlic sauce is from pound land. How can anyone run a chip shop like this and not be shut down. The two people serving and cooking the food were literally children and with very bad attitudes. The food was actually that bad I'll be reporting them. This place needs investigating for disgraceful food practices.
