Called in for some food as we were passing by. The welcome was brilliant, and some treats were given to the dogs while we waited for our food.
The food was really nice, we ordered mixed grill and a sirloin steak, it’s was cooked perfectly. Even the chips were nice, one of the best meals we’ve had.
The atmosphere was welcoming and laid back, and the whole place looked clean.
If we’re in the area again we will definitely call back in.
We went to The Red Lion for Sunday Roast and it was the best Sunday roast I’ve had out in a long time! The food was incredible, the portions were great value for money especially the child’s roast & the staff were absolutely amazing especially with our little girl who was getting a bit irritable. I’d highly recommend people to come here, everything was so spot on that we’re even considering coming again this weekend!

Had a fabulous Saturday afternoon lunch at The Red. Biggest fish and chips I’ve ever seen! Friendly, fast service and a beautiful sunny beer garden.

Stunning food. Had the Greek mixed grill. Lovely pint of Guinness sat next to the open fire.
Warm friendly welcome and the staff were amazing.

Food was outstanding! The fish and chips was the best I’ve had. The whole place gives such a homely but social feeling. The staff staff are amazing and can’t do enough for you! Will definitely be visiting again!!
Absolutely incredible place I visited here before and I think it’s been a change of ownership since I came last. Had lunch with my boss and I can’t recommend it highly enough.

The Red Lion first visit and what a lovely time we had. Friendly staff...warm and inviting atmosphere. Lovely Garden area if it is warm enough to sit out. All the food is excellent and mouth watering. Would recommend a visit you will not be disappointed..
