Easter Monday. Went to the Red Lion after a walk around the beautiful village.
Sat in the beer garden, served promptly and the food was fab. I had a fresh made spicy chicken pizza. Never have I had so much chicken on a pizza. The chilli burger was amazing too ( so I was told).
Really nice little country village pub. Very friendly landlord, nice selection of Hook Norton beers, good hot drinks and a really inviting beer garden. The highlight had to be the sausage roll ! Lovely and warm and really meaty ! Definitely worth a trip to this pub
Lovely friendly pub..had a really nice visit .. Thank you! .. Got there just as a downpour started on a walk.. Didn't have time for food but will definitely be back.. Black cherry pie! Oh yes!

A great little village pub, plenty of choice with ales along with ciders and lagers. Only called in for a drink.
Love this pub! THE best roast dinner! Weekly menu is good but the roast dinner is second to none!
