Really lovely afternoon in a lovely little country pub, great roast dinner for Mother’s Day and lots of it, lovely pudding and nice atmosphere. We were made to feel very welcome with our puppy Nelly too .. Will most defiantly be back :-) also lots of walks to explore close by.

If you like Darling Buds of May and want a view of time gone by, pop in after a stunning walk in the Chilterns. Very friendly.

Nice cosy little locals pub. Staff very friendly as well as the locals. Dog friendly. Nice roaring fire in the winter to keep you toasty whilst you drink.they have meal with drink offers during the week.

Will note that the coors we had was off but the staff quickly turned that around and offered us another drink ????
A nice pub lunch while enjoying a day out. Sunday roasts with all the fixings you'd expect. Generous portions and reasonable prices.
The most flavoursome roasts, fires burning and dogs doing their thing, old countryside pub tucked up in the hillside of Whiteleaf ????
We were served by two obliging, good humoured young ladies and the kitchen produced top class Fish & Chips (very welcome after our long hike). If you don't get into the more famous pub a mile away, just come here instead ;)
Very nice food, not a great choice but the options are good along with quality. Definitely try the fish and chips. Very friendly staff and couldn't have been more helpful. Well worth a trip for a drink, food or both.
