Absolute belter!! This is a great traditional PUB! Amazing selection of cask ales, home cooked grub with the best proper chips. Friendly hosts, just an amazing little gem
We arrived early this morning. Just after they opened for the day, we received a lovely warm welcome, and as we decided to sit in the snug, they lit the coal fire.
After ordering, not too long a wait for the freshly cooked breakfast to arrive, it was delicious, no grease on the plate, and very tasty indeed, well presented and good value.
Cosy old fashioned village pub that has good reputation for food and cask ale which is constantly changed. They do a great Beer Festival with live music plus regular live music on Thursday. Also a Quiz Night.
Sunday night and packed. Lots of people eating. Great atmosphere. Good range of draught beers. Friendly staff who welcome dogs.

I had gammon eggs pineapple and chips and my wife had a regular fish chips and mushy peas. Both meals were really nice well cooked and plenty big enough good value ????
