The best fish and chips I've had in many a year. Must rank as one of the best on the island.
First time visiting the island so our thoughts are to have fish and chips on the last night before heading home and we wasn't disappointed very nice and friendly atmosphere with the staff.
Just been to the chippy tonight as we are on holiday and going home tomorrow so we are out of food. The service was brilliant. Friendliest chippy I have ever been in in the entire UK. The quantities are good and service is super quick. Very chatty and interested in whether we had had a good holiday. As the chippy likely depends on tourism its

We are a family of 5 on holiday in the area and kept passing this shop in the week. We decided we would try it out as it’s the nearest one to Pencraigwen where we are staying. We are so glad we did as it was amazing and every one of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The fish was freshly cooked to order for us and was delicious, the chips also tasted amazing and the gravy was lovely. Portion sizes are huge and reasonably priced too. We can honestly say they’re the nicest fish and chips we have had in a very long time and we would highly recommend that you try them as you really won’t be disappointed. Really friendly people and spotlessly clean shop too. Thanks so much for a lovely tea, it was delicious x
Wow, what a fantastic meal. Ten of us enjoyed the most amazing Fish and Chips from the wonderful 'The Red Dragon Fish and Chip Shop' in Llanerchymedd today, Wednesday 2 June 2021.
The fish was freshly cooked for us, and the batter was fabulous. The chips were utterly perfect, and without exception all ten of us (5 adults and 5 children) said; that was the best fish and chips we''ve had for as long as anyone can remember.
We're on holiday from the West Midlands, and no chip shop that we know locally could match The Red Dragon Llanerchymedd for both the quality food, and the warm friendly service.

Staying in a cottage close by, this was the closest chippy to us. Fed a family of 8 for less than £50. Great service, took a telephone order so we didn't have to wait. Lovely food.
We had 2 takeaways whilst on holiday. Great fish and chips.
