Wow. Just wow. Being from SoCal you get used to good Korean. After moving up here to NorCal that kinda fell away.
On the way home from the children's museum we were wanting some good food so we did a quick Google search. Korean was on the kind so that's what we typed in. Luckily this hidden gem popped up.
This is NOT all you can eat. There's a difference between going to the museum yourself and having a curated tour. You get what you pay for. This is high quality meat, amazing vegetables, and attentive staff. They do the grilling. This is a what good food tastes like.
Galbi is tasty, bones too. Tansuyuk is delicious and it comes separately. Sauce and meet in a different bowls. That's more convenient. And when they served soup and rice they first bring for 3 people and like 10 minutes later after entrees were on the table they brought more. That was awkward. Even they are cooking for you they turn on crazy fire that it's burning but not cooking. Maybe to finish it faster. I have questions only about stuff not about food.
This place is fantastic. I wish it hadn't taken so long for me to come eat here but I'm glad I finally got the chance, it's a new favorite!
This place is average for what it's worth. The food is average priced. One time they ran out of something and gave my wife a big portion of another option which was great. I wish the food had some more flavor. The bakery has some unique items.
Pricey, but tasty. The Host/Waitress? basically cooked all our food, and she was really fun, which matters given you spend more time with her than a normal server. We got a wider array of food and I think we still took some home. Also, I don't like seafood, not for lack of trying, and this was the only place where not only did I eat the shrimp, I actually went back for seconds. I think I literally ate more shrimp in this one place (about 10) than I had in the previous 10 years. That alone won me over.
Excellent quality meats and veggies. A clear tier above the many all-you-can-eat places in the surrounding areas. They also cook the food for you which is awesome; no worries about overcooking delicate seafood and and steaks, and let's you enjoy your company. Looked sketchy at first since it's attached to a supermarket and is relatively empty on the weekdays. Definitely a hidden gem.
Today there was only one person working and it was busy so I ended up waiting nearly 15 minutes minutes to place my drink order. I ordered and almond milk tea with boba in the large size, it was delicious. I also ordered a shaved ice and that was great also. I would have rated The Experience 5 Stars if it weren't for the very long wait.
This Korean restaurant is nestled inside of the KP International Market. What attracted us to this place is the grill at each table where you can prepare your order.
On our visit, we were the only ones at the restaurant but was told that supper time packed this place.
Their menu is designed for one or more than 6. We selected the variety meat and veggie tray for three.
The total price for three came at about $80.00 not including drinks and tip.
Our platter came with our own cook who prepared the meats in front of us, like Bennihana.
Our meal also include rice, soup, salad, and an assortment of condiments and dressing for the meat.
The meat was tender and when dipped in the variety of sauces enhanced the overall experience. Each grill had a vent to catch all the grill smoke.
Overall the meal was wonderful and only drawback was that you really couldn't carry on a "private conversation" because the cook was at your table cooking for the most part.
