Best KPortal Reviews
Me and my family was visiting Atlanta for the first time and came to the real milk and honey. The atmosphere was fun with the 90s throwbacks! The music wasn’t loud either which was a plus. Everyone was friendly and our server was great! I would definitely recommend! It was so good the morning we left we went back and got Togo food when they first opened ????
If I could give zero stars, I would. This place is so overrated and I truly do not understand all of the positive reviews. The food was beyond bland. We ordered the shrimp and grits: the fried shrimp were not that bad but the grits were so bland and runny/watery… with no flavor. I had to request salt so I could get through my meal. This is the same for the fried salmon and grits: fish was okay but the grits were terrible and runny ????. We also ordered the Cinnamon Toast Crunch waffle for $12 and a side of bacon for $6. The bacon was average at best but the waffle tasted like it was frozen plain Eggo. The honey biscuits were good but not worth coming back here.
The music was way too loud to the point you could not hear anyone talking at your table. The only good part of this experience was our waitress Ashley. She was amazing, attentive , and very good at her job. I hope she finds a much better place to work soon.
Unique did a phenomenal job taking care of us!
The food was flavorful and portioned well.
Spicy margarita was delicious ???? too.
The music was hip and diverse, but not too loud to enjoy conversation.
10/10 recommend.
The food here is delicious. I've been a couple of times and the groups I was with each time ordered a good variety of foods - and we haven't had anything we didn't love. The mixed drinks are pretty to look at and delicious. The honey butter biscuits are amazing. A couple of us had to order some to take with us for later. The shrimp and grits is creamy and well-seasoned. It's a small space and they've been pretty busy each time I've been - which takes away from the atmosphere, to me. It felt crowded and like we had to squeeze into the space we were given. The service is fine. It's so busy, though, that it doesn't feel as attentive as we'd like. But - the servers we've had have all been absolutely lovely to us. We'll definitely be back, but will probably try to find a less busy time to visit.
Small cute place. I loved the artwork on the walls. We ordered fried green tomatoes, honey butter biscuits, and blackened salmon and grits. Those grits were amazing! Great service. Great atmosphere! We went around 230pm on a Wednesday, so it was not busy. I'm so happy we went there. Everything was amazing! So glad I walked in here. The servers were amazing. Brea was the absolute best!!
When in College Park, take the time to visit The REAL Milk and Honey. The food is absolutely devine and the service was above and beyond our expectations. Our server, Kale, was extremely professional and took the time to make recommendations based and popular items and her favorites. We were extremely satisfied with this young lady.
We chose fish and grits, shrimp and grits and red velvet pancakes and chicken sausage with mango and strawberry mimosas.
Everything was delicious and cooked too perfection. The ambiance really catches you as you enter with smooth music to set the vibe and colorful murals on the walls. Stop by, eat, visit, and enjoy the vibes!
We went for a working lunch and had great service and food recommendations. They have a carefully crafted menu with all their specialties. We ordered:
1. Hot Honey biscuits - this was a group favorite ❤️. Quote from my coworking friend - "The biscuits were my fave. Innovators - like, why have I never glazed my biscuits with honey butter like they're donuts." Would recommend getting as a starter. (5/5 ????)
2. Fried green tomatoes - I loved these! Great textures, breading, and seasoning. The sauce paired nicely and complemented the tomatoes. (7/5 ????)
3. Blackened salmon and grits - the salmon was high quality, prepared well, and seasoned well. It paired nicely with the perfectly curated grits. (5/5 ????)
4. Shrimp and grits - the shrimp and sausage were great, and I think it was well executed. (5/5 ????)
5. Crab hash - this dish had great flavors and seasoning. The only criticism is that we wish the hashbrowns had a little crunch to them. The person who ordered this dish still enjoyed and would recommend it. (5/5 ????)
6. Chicken and waffle - the waffle was a 5/5 ????, and the fried chicken wings were (4/5 ????). The fried chicken was missing something in the breading and would have liked a little more of a crunch on it. (4.5/5 ????)
The group loved the background music, ambiance, and service. Would visit again and recommend to those visiting Atlanta or who live in the area.
I traveled all the way from Houston to try this food and it did not disappoint! First off, please give our server Qierra a raise! Her customer service is phenomenal!!! She ran down the menu to our group so well, we didn’t even need to look at the menu. She handled our questions like she owned the place lol.
But, the food was DAMN GOOD! Our entire table was quiet when we started eating????
I had Crab hash, fried shrimp, and a red velvet waffle… I can still taste everything while I'm writing this review 5 days later! Whoever thought to add ACTUAL red velvet crumbs on the waffle is a genius! I ate at several restaurants while visiting Atlanta, and this was my favorite! Oh and I had a strawberry lemonade drop (I think) the food was so good I forgot to drink my beverage lol, but my friends said “It was strong & good”.
