Wooow! This has been an EXPERIENCE, if nothing else. We booked a table for 3 adults, 1 kid and a baby for their Mother's day meal. I've never had such a bad dining experience, and this place is suppose to be high class. First, we were seated out in their patio, wonderful view of the train! However, with the screeching of chairs every time someone got up or sat down- you could not manage a conversation with your party. I definitely walked out of their with a headache. My suggestion, put felt stickers on the feet of your chairs. Secondly, the "buffet" ....!? What was going on there? There was very little food, what was offered was dirty and looked like you would get sick from eating it. Third, as per my mother- the pancakes were ice cold, along with the egg thingy. Were these even heated up?! Definitely weren't cooked! The "cold shrimp" sat in a water bath- that was DIRTY! I'm pretty sure it was meant to be on ice, but instead swam in a cesspool of germs. Fourth, you guys ran out of plates! My mother and son went first, while my Dad and I stayed back with my baby daughter. Their trip up, ran out of plates. 20 mins later, and we took our trip up, again ran out of plates. Fifth, from the time we got there to the time we left 1:30-2:30 there were NO dessert. They weren't taking any walk-ins, so everyone there was there by reservation- how do you not plan for the people coming? If the restaurant was short staffed or under trained or whatever 'issues' were going on to provide such a poor experience. The restaurant should have just remained closed today and just did nothing. This was a waste of a Mother's day, waste of time and waste of money.
Atleast our waitress did not charge us for one of the meals... but still... Really poor job.
Love this place but everytime i doordash the portions are different. This order gave me about a tablesppons worth of ice cream for the molten lava cake. Over $100 in food and they can't kick in a couple scoops of ice cream
My children enjoyed their meals and to me they looked great. Our appetizer was okay but pricey for what we got.
For our meals we got chicken fettuccine alfredo & steak fettuccine alfredo. The description says “creamy alfredo” and what we received was chunky, dry and there was hardly any sauce. The “sauce” that was there seemed like leftovers that were separated. The noodles were dry. It seemed as if it was reheated in a microwave. I was highly disappointed. They did remake it for us but it still did not meet the expectations I had set by their own menu description.
Maybe we will try again in a few months but the food was definitely not worth it which is disappointing because it’s a beautiful restaurant. The restaurant is extremely inviting and it is a comfortable atmosphere and it isn’t cramped. Our waitress was very kind and very quick.
I recently visited this restaurant, attracted by its inviting exterior and promising ambiance indoors. However, my dining experience left much to be desired.
The restaurant boasts a charming exterior and an equally pleasing interior, setting the stage for what could have been a delightful meal. Unfortunately, the service fell short of expectations. While the staff was polite, their attention to detail was lacking. Despite clearly requesting coleslaw, I was served a salad instead, indicative of some miscommunication or oversight.
Upon receiving our main dishes, it was immediately evident that something was amiss. The plates were disappointingly cold, causing the food to lose its intended warmth and flavor. Even the sauce failed to salvage the dish, as it too was rendered cold and lackluster. This oversight significantly detracted from the overall dining experience.
In terms of taste, the flavors were passable but failed to impress. I would rate the flavor a modest 3.5 out of 5 stars, indicating a decent but unremarkable culinary offering.
In conclusion, while the restaurant exudes charm both inside and out, its lackluster service and disappointing temperature of the dishes hindered what could have been an enjoyable dining experience.
Plus they did not have the style of pasta that I ordered.
Pleasantly surprised!! The Strawberry Salad with Grilled Shrimp was delicious and fresh!!! Buffalo Burger was a hit and so was the SmokeStack Burger! Mac N Cheese received an A+! We will definitely be back when we come through again! No one at the host stand for a while. Finally was seated and our Server was very nice and attentive. Kept the drinks filled. Room we were sat in was nice for our large party and conversation, but the temperature was very cool. Food did cool down fast, asked to have the temperature changed, but not able to. All in all it was a great lunch and the prices were reasonable for what we got too! Thank you!
Had very mediocre service. Our waitress was very inattentive to our table and gave us the impression she could have cared less about us being there. Asked three times before we got a side of ranch dressing and a salad failed to come until our server was reminded after our meal came out. Food was good but the lousy service definitely took away from our dining experience.
One of the nicer places in downtown Gillette. Nice bar area, Brittany was friendly and efficient. I ordered a burger, which was fine, but next time I’ll try one of their specialties. If your from out of town this is a safe and enjoyable choice.
A slight bit more detail in the service department to get 5 Stars. The food is excellent, both sit in or ordering delivery. I highly recommend the mushrooms!
