Friendly Inn with comfy rooms overlooking the steam trains at the small Churston station where Agatha Christie used to frequent before going to Greenway down the road.
Lovely evening meal with atmosphere in the bar/restaurant...on differing levels...all inclusive wherever u sit.

A lovely warm welcome from staff and locals. Great atmosphere and fine selection of beers and ciders. Large garden and very close to Ham Wall / Shapwick nature reserves.

True local pub on the Avonlon marshes. Lovely land lady and land lord Maggie and Phil. Very friendly, on my list when we are in Somerset again.

The Railway Inn is a friendly 'local' pub with a roaring log fire in the winter. Also a great place to visit before or after (or both!) seeing the starling murmurations at Ham Wall which is only 200 yards away. Wilkins cider is recommended at £2.30 a pint.
