Proper canny local! We were stranded at Haltwhistle without any buses or taxis on our way to the Sill YHA on a Friday night. Everything was fine in the end though as a couple of locals kept us company for a bit. The landlady overheard our plight and did everything she could to arrange a lift for us, asking some of the locals without us knowing. So kind of her. Couple of young lads offered to drive us there. Absolute legends.
Had a few pints ger actually git quite drunk. Locals wher warm and feeindly. They wher trying to send me back to scotland though haha! Na great nite thank you Haltwhistle I love your town beautiful kind hearted people. The lot of you. I will see yous when I walk back from Ibiza.

We were on our way through and the public toilets were locked. So we found the Railway and asked whether we could use their restroom. It wasn't a bother at all, the lady was extremely friendly, and the toilets were so clean! We'd definitely consider the place, lovely atmosphere. Thanks!
Very friendly staff!! Lovely pint of strongbow. Perfect selection of drinks, and a great game of pool with some music on the jukebox, nothing better
Lovely pub down by the station. Really friendly staff, plenty of tables and sports screens. Drinks very reasonably priced. Will definitely be back. I thoroughly recommend dropping by if you are in this lovely town.
Really can't understand how this place gets such good reviews!! The place is dirty, cramped and doesn't have one real ale on tap. With the superb choice of top quality pubs around the area, I can't find anything at all to recommend this place. I can't comment on the food or accommodation but as far as the bar is concerned, it's worse than a 70's working men's club. Definitely won't be back.
