I have stayed at The Queens Hotel in Harlech a couple of times now and will certainly be returning.|The hosts go out of their way to ensure that you have a great stay. The rooms are spacious, beds extremely comfy, and have everything you require. They even provide nice little additional touches like individual toiletries, chocolates in the room, hot choc and biscuits in addition to the standard coffee and teas, and easy to access charging points.|This time I had a room with a fab view of the castle, thanks.|The breakfasts and food served is first class and I cannot find anything to complain about. If you are going out early they will even provide you with a grab and go breakfast pack with all your nutritional essentials.|It is ideal for me, with off road parking. It is certainly provides value for money hotel, is close to the train station for day trips, the fab beach and town, and everything you need on the doorstep.|I will certainly be returning and wish the hosts every success for the future!
Conveniently situated for the railway station overlooked by Harlech Castle. Comfortable hotel accommodation above a welcoming pub. I was afforded a friendly greeting. Good quality bar snacks and local real ale supplemented my visit. Clean and tidy. The owners appear to be making continual improvements.
Although we are regular visitors to Harlech, this was our first time visiting the Queens Hotel. It's been refurbished in recent years by the new owners, Liam and Rachel, and they've done a lovely job of it. They were very welcoming and we felt very well looked after during our time there.||We stayed in one of the rooms for the night. The room was comfortable and clean and we got a good night's sleep. We had dinner in the pub area downstairs. The food was very good and excellent value for money. We had curries which they make in their kitchen. The bar is has nice areas naturally separated with tables and seating for eating or just drinks, plus a central bar area. Breakfast was also very good. The B&B rate is good value and reflects the high standards at the Queens Hotel. It's in a great location next to Harlech train station, and an easy stroll to the beach or a walk up the hill to Harlech town centre.
Can't rate the rooms (never stayed) but everything else about the pub is fantastic
Ace food, served quickly, hot and plenty of it.
Very good service, not in your face but never far away
Family business and much the better for it.
Good selection of alcohol
Dog freindly, our pup won't leave poor Liam the landlord alone such is his devotion, (we'll have to have another then)
Beautiful location under the most enchanting castle, especially at night..
Great job, we always feel welcome.
If you want food book, as its popular and don't expect to walk in, they are busy, cos they are popular.
Best beach in Wales a very short walk away
Our first visit to Wales and won't be the last.|A lovely place to stay, large room, comfy beds and a view of the castle.|The hosts were very helpful.|Breakfast was plentiful and delicious as was the meals in the restaurant.|Ideal place to stay, 15 minutes walk to dog friendly beach and 2 minutes walk from railway station.|We will return.
Eleven of us went for evening meal. Prebooked before we went and the food was ready almost as soon as we sat down. Children were accommodated even though a little noisy. ???? Staff and locals very friendly and interested in where we were from and what we were doing in Harlech.
My partner and i stayed at the weekend, we had a lovely time, the bathroom was freezing but other than that brilliant. The breakfast was gorgeous as were the views. Lovely staff!
Ate here twice while staying at Min Y Don, Hotel in a lovely setting at bottom of castle. & 10 mins walk away from campsite. Food was lovely & ample portions. Staff lovely & very kind & accommodating with our “grandoggy” who is a little timid. Will def return if we visit again. Thank you x |||
