We popped in for a pint and stayed all night to listen to the fab blues combo that were playing , they had the place bouncing and singing along with some impromptu christmas songs.

Absolutely brilliant loved every minute I spent in there locals make u feel so welcome and the hospitality is amazing. Even asked for myself to watch my football team and they honoured it cheers mick Blackburn rovers????⚪️

Hi this middle of the Town Pub, is a Pub of walks of Life. You have not been to Whitehaven if have not visited one of the best Pubs in Whitehaven. Good Ale, Fantastic Landlady, Good Craic & Friendly Bar Staff. I would this pub 8 out of 10.
Another Monday evening karaoke in Whitehaven. At least this one isn't a drunken screechfest. Small place but smells damp like an old cellar. Beer okay (only one cask which is same as other places). Staff friendly although they have no issue with showing more than just cleavage. Usual drunk clientelle which is odd for a Monday evening. Must pay good dole money in Whitehaven.
Bar staff miserable and arrogant and text each other while both standing behind the bar.landlord cant wait 2 get upstairs.however 9.00 am opening .dave the barman.ruf as uncut pla stic,but service is strait til point and prompt.New landlord just tuk ovr..so will update cos i aint bin in.but they r okay.depends on the staff they employ ....!!!!
