This was a lovely place and in picturesque surroundings too. The staff were very accommodating and though we had to wait a while, the food was delicious!

The restaurant was really welcoming with a lovely coal fire on a rainy evening. We were on a special'free main course' birthday deal and there were balloons on the table and we were offered a free drink. The food was delicious and the service great. Will definitely be returning.

After waiting almost an hour for food to arrive at the table, the meals were very disappointing. Steaks were tough and fatty, lamb roast dinner over cooked and chewy, chips definitely not double cooked and tasteless. For the poor quality of food served the meal was overpriced and we will not be visiting again.

Very nice place. Great Food. Reasonably priced. Service was excellent...with high tech push button service at each table! Reasonable selection of drinks, though the Guinness was in a can!! Will be going back again though.
