What a gem of a find, just on the little high street across from the harbour.
Lovely young staff serving simple, classic cafe food. We had the lunch time Irish stew with soda bread and it was absolutely delicious (£6.50). Fresh chunks of carrots and potatoes with melty soft meat. Very warm and nourishing, much needed after a chilly ferry crossing.
Very good prices and clearly popular with the locals.

Cracking fry up , opted for the large fry and it was spot on. Loved the little black and white puddings . Produce was good and staff friendly....looking forward to coning back !
Fantastic GF Fry and Smoked Fish Chowder. Unbeatable value too. Good, quick service, very clean. The perfect lunch spot.
Unfriendly staff, coffee was gross.When I asked for 2 other dishes they didn't have it so had to choose the chicken curry, which only had about 3 pieces of chicken in it and it was tiny. Not an adult portion.They didn't accept card payment..Wouldn't recommend
Fabulous baked potato, delicious filling and generous side salad. Cheap prices and friendly staff.
I had a small fry which was great and not greasy. My granddaughters had chicken nuggets and chips which they loved. Great pot of tea too. Must say the young staff were so attentive and friendly . Will definitely be back
Lovely breakfast, another jewel in Ballycastle’s crown. They now have a little seating area out the back which is outside.
We got two small frys, perfectly cooked and it arrived so quickly! And everyone was friendly and super helpful, we will definitely go back the next time we're in Ballycastle! Great value for money too.
