Really nicely cooked food. Everything seemed home cooked, simple but good quality. We were quite a large party and everyone was really impressed with their food. Really reasonably priced too. Highly recommend.
Very polite and helpful staff. Had fish and chip which were fantastic. Real chips aswel. Extra brownie points for having that rarity these days, white pepper! Definitely will make a return.

Amazing place. Considering we were a party of 22 people, everything went so smoothly and efficiently. The food was out of this world, could tell it was home cooked and nothing was too much trouble. Very friendly staff and can’t recommend it enough, look forward to going there again.

This pub has been around for quite some time in the little village of Porthyrhyd, not far from Carmarthen. It, surprisingly, maintains a large variety of flavored gins. The atmosphere is family friendly and the food is quite good but standard pub fare. I will definitely go back.
