Didn't have the food. But it had a selection of tasty nuts. ???? listened to a live band. The Rotorvators. They was very good. Dog friendly. Got a garden as well.
Good quality local pub at reasonable prices. Big screen TV for sporting events. Fish and chips meal one of the best.

Lovely big beer garden set up will for kids, 3 mins from APH gatwick parking which is why we went as early for our flight
The pub has such potential. Nice big garden (but some parts overgrown and needs sorting) fine selection of drinks. The main reason I rated it 3 stars not lower, is because it is just a pub it's not trying to be anything else. Sometimes I think that's a lost thing now.
We stayed overnight in the carpark in our motorhome, having called in advance. Really lovely welcoming staff, nice reasonably priced food, good drinks selection and a lovely beer garden with bouncy castle and other activities for the kids. Highly recommended.
Been here a couple of times to see the band night. Have had some brilliant performers. The pub has a nice set-up, a surprising amount of space, and a great outdoors area which is ideal for summer and welcoming to families.
The usual suspects are in the drink selection, and the general atmosphere is a good one.
Would recommend.
Great proper British pub! Good honest food, I had one of the homemade burgers, so did the wife.
The ale was in good condition, bouncy castle in the fenced in garden. Great family and dog friendly pub! The have lots of wide screen T.V's too so will be good for the world cup.
Will be back with friends.
