My friend is very picky and especially specific with his burger and he loved his burger.
Great food! I was pleasantly surprised. This is like a secret gem for a burger and fries. We will be back for sure.
The food was excellent, the bartender was excellent. I was very happy with my drink. The place was a bit hard to find being visitors and the atmosphere was loud, which may be due to low ceilings or the building structure. But, we definitely will be back.
Came here by myself to have a good lunch and maybe meet some nice people. Unfortunately, the regular clientele of this establishment decided to spend a significant amount of time gay hating and bashing people who have nothing to do with them. Normally I wouldn't blame an establishment for its customers, except that there was a woman who was helping move beers, who obviously had some association with the restaurant, who absolutely agreed with the gay bashing. This is not a safe space for all peoples. This seems to be a place for crusty old, angry men. Might need to work on the image. It made for a very uncomfortable lunch. The food was mediocre. The bartender was nice.
As everyone who's seen my other reviews knows by now, I'm an adult with autism, and I'm a -very- picky eater. Thus, I ordered my usual for a burger joint - a cheeseburger (cheese and ketchup only) and fries.
Let's start with the meat:
Normally I order my burgers medium-well, but I decided to try medium this time instead. The patty was just pink enough, cooked to perfection (and steaming hot). Juicy, and so, so much flavor.
The bun next:
It was juuuuust grilled enough to have a golden-brown inside (for both top and bottom buns), and the bun tasted just a tiny bit sweet, too. Excellent.
The ketchup:
It tasted delicious, and was a perfect blend of sweet and savory.
The cheese:
It was melted into a formless golden goo that just made the whole thing go above and beyond every other burger I've had.
The fries:
Crispy, extra salty, and the "shell" kinda melts in your mouth, too.
The final verdict:
This is the greatest burger I've ever eaten. Like, it's not even close. I'm willing to declare that The Pour House is the best burger joint in Arizona.
And for parents with picky children, the kids menu has a wide selection too.
If I could rate this higher than five stars, I would.
My dad has been going here for years. Ed loves to karaoke here weekly. Brent is the most amazing bartender. He put up with my family of 11 on vacation to visit my dad while getting his roof done. We were, well, us. He did well. This place has amazing food and amazing service. Thank you Brent for showing our family kindness, your "since of urgency". And regulating!!! Mount up!!! By the way,,, the cool was amazing as well. You did is good with a full belly.

Something for lunch had a really great patty melt and battered onion rings. I'll definitely be going back. Awesome chicken fried steak and eggs also roast beef hash.
