Last 2 times I called they only had a couple of sides available and meat options were slim. The girl on the phone seemed bothered i called. Decided to go Carvers in Godfrey. They were nice and food was great. Highly recommend.
I generally place large orders for carry out. Morgan does a fantastic job at organizing and making sure the orders are complete and tagged. Al does a wonderful job in the kitchen and makes lots of deliciousness! Everything we’ve had has been superb!
More of a to-go place. Best call and order before you get there, because it does take time. The sauce is good, but I prefer to put a touch of maple syrup with it when I get home.
Both the good and the prices are phenomenal! Have yet to have anything we didn’t absolutely love! Best barbecue in the area and the don’t miss on the sides either!
This is our go to place for very good food. This is a small family owned restaurant that did it right. Started with the basics and moved forward with great food and service at a reasonable price as the first priority. Wether your passing through or live near by pork barrel is a must try for bbq done right! With other options on the menu.
Great little BBQ shack! The food is amazing! Must try the pulled pork! The sides are excellent too! Don't pass it by!!
The pork steak was dry even though it was smothered in sauce the potato salad had nothing but eggs in it very bland in the song was dry and hard $14 plus tax
The rest of the clan got the pulled pork specials they left a little to be desired also my grandson said the macaroni and cheese was not good and he is a macaroni and cheese connoisseur in all probably spend about 50 some odd dollars in my opinion this meal was not worth my money
Went for the double bacon cheeseburger at lunchtime. Was awesome so I went back for dinner. Pork steak, burnt end, and brownies were als9 amazing!!!!!!
