We had filet tips and tacklebox chicken and a mango margarita. It was all very good! Service was great as was the atmosphere.
Wings! In at open and had our food in 15 minutes. Kids had the chicken strips and loved them. Hubby had a shrimp Po-boy and he said it matched Louisiana. I had a burger. All delicious
Great view. Nice porch. Good food. Super sweet waitress.
Food was great. Service was wonderful. Beautiful view whole we ate. Will definitely be back!
I took a friend we had lunch, eventing was cook perfect, my food was hot,my server was very helpful and nice thanks for a great and relaxing time.
Nothing fancy but you don't need to be fancy to make good food. Very open and inviting. Staff is very helpful and attentive. The collared dip is pretty good. Hate that the size of the dip compared to the amount of chips I got was small. Overall, I could see myself coming back for more.
I get the cheesburger with fries and they never disappoint! Great food and atmosphere!
My wife and I went to eat dinner on a week night. We were seated promptly, however, we waited over ten minutes before anyone came to our table. When someone did approach us, she asked if we’d been taken care of. When we told her we had not, she let us know someone would be right with us. Hello??? The decent thing to do would have been to apologize and ask if she could go ahead and get us something to drink, right?? But no.. she promptly continued back to the front to stand around and chit chat with the other 5 girls that were standing there doing nothing (literally, just chit chatting, laughing and carrying on…being unproductive, and snobby), while two waitresses worked the floor. It was a joke. Needless to say, after watching this circus for another 8-10 minutes, we decided to leave.
We had eaten in once before and thought the food was “decent”, but overpriced. We were not going to complain because we are grateful to welcome The Pond House to reopen and try again in Metter. Our choices are limited. So we gave it another shot with take out, which was ridiculously overpriced at nearly $75 for a chicken finger basket, shrimp basket and fish n chips basket. ????. But, ok.. you pay for convenience, I suppose.
This last visit sealed the deal. I watched who I’m assuming was the owner. He seems nice enough and I credit him for trying to make a go of it. The place looks great. The idea he’s going with is great. Shrimp n grits? Heck yea!! I’m not even as concerned about the price as long as the service, quality and quantity are all in line as well.
So far, the quality of the food has been good, but not exceptional. The quantity has not been great for the price. And most importantly, the customer service from the staff has been horrible EVERY…SINGLE…TIME.
Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time and money. Go ahead and head on over to Papa Buck’s for some good treats or El Mariachi for quick service and good Mexican food.
