Proper pub run by a friendly landlord. Played pool and enjoyed the company of a good set of locals. Setting up a 2nd pool ???? team there in the summer (with the landlords blessing).
Hmm 1st time wasn't the best but every other time, the place is awesome. Top friendly staff too...

Good pub, friendly staff, worth a visit, prices better than others, no food at present.
Good little spot don't get here often as im a wagon driver but when i am its the place to go for a quite drink
3.5 stars out of 5 for me, I genuinely had no concerns with the pub itself HOWEVER a strange scene did occur when I visited the mens toilets. I was at the urinals when the pub landlord walked in and stood next to me and I could just feel his eyes burning in the back of my head! As I looked to the right he winked at me and said "need a hand?" He was very drunk though so I wont take it personally. Overall top boozer!
Nice place, has a pool table good range of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. Staff and customers were very nice.
Landlord and staff are sound no idiots excellent food and good selection of drinks at reasonable prices, myself and friends regular
